In this site-specific exhibition, hosted at Galleria Manzoni until June 6, the author shows eleven of his photos of Bergamo in different sizes, his perspective on the city’s urban texture and its natural environment.

As some of you might have noticed, a Twitter icon has recently appeared on our right sidebar. That’s right, you can now follow our twits, as well as our posts and bookmarks.

And I have more news about that: after spending some time juggling with feeds on Yahoo Pipes, I achieved creating a single feed gathering ALL our updates on all the three platforms. What does this mean to you? First, you don’t need to subscribe to this new feed if you already get our old one via Feedburner, since I updated it to give you the pipe I made. In case you’re not familiar with RSS and stuff like that, just know that by clicking on our feed icon, from now on, you’ll get everything you need (new posts, bookmarks and Twitter activity) all packed in one stream. In case you’re an old subscriber, just enjoy the considerably bigger amount of news you’ll get from us next time you open your RSS reader.

As a young blog (six months, which is little more than a child in blog-years) we’re particularily happy when we see signs of appreciation coming from “older brothers”. Just like Archidose and Things Magazine did back at our very beginning, Pruned has recently listed us in a link post about new blogs dealing with architecture and related issues. We can’t but thank them. And, of course, also all the others who’ve been reading us, listing us in their blogrolls or linking to our articles.

Where’s Mario Ballesteros has just started a new blog. Mañanarama will focus on “failed development, bogus modernization, and other urban or architectural dreams deferred”. Even though Mexico will be the main object of his analysis, the author will “probably indulge in the occasional musing on (pan)americana, mid-century manias, tercermundismo or just random mexotica”. Right in these sad times after the latest tragic earthquake-related disaster in Italy, some news come from another site, previously destroyed by another earthquake in 1997. The new church in Foligno by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas sits right where one of the old container camps providing shelter to the homeless of the central-italian town used to be, and is meant to be a sign of hope for the area.
The building’s opening is tomorrow and three days of conferences and debate with the architects will follow. Below are the details of both the project and the events.
